Job profile Quality Management RepresentativeQuality Management Representatives have the ability to implement quality management systems based on requi-rements of ISO 9000 series and to act as management representative in SMEs or departments of larger organi-sations, responsible for the quality management system. They are able to perform internal audits in an organisation. They understand the importance of integration with other management systems, such as environmental or occu-pational health and safety. Due to their comprehensive knowledge of quality management tools, Quality Manage-ment Representatives are competent points of contact and problem solvers. They promote teamwork and mo-derate working groups.

Job profile Quality Systems ManagerQuality Systems Managers are very familiar with ISO 9000 ff, and are in the position to efficiently plan, construct and further develop quality management systems in organi-zations of every type and size. Extensive methodological and statistical skills qualify Quality Systems Managers to continuously develop and improve quality management systems. They know how to integrate other management systems, e.g., environmental or occupational health and safety and to actively participate in organizational de-velopment. Their high degree of process and business proficiency contributes substantially to value creation in organizations. They operate at the interface between exe-cutive management and other corporate areas, and know how to lead and motivate interdisciplinary quality teams.

Prerequisites: 4 years of practical professional experi-ence with two of these in quality assurance or in quali-ty management. Qualification in the courses Integrated Management Systems – Requirements (IMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Integrated Management Systems – Methods and Tools (IMSA), Integrated Manage-ment Systems – Strategy and Organisational Development (IMOE), Statistical Methods for Decision Making (QME).

Job profile AuditorBy auditing the quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems the organisati-on gains a comprehensive view of the effectiveness of its system and deduces potentials for the further develop-ment. Therefore audits are an important learning platform for the organisation. The success of an audit depends on the competence of the Auditor. This competence includes the understanding for the management system and the accordant audit methods, mainly the ability to communi-cate, analysis and synthesis, to recognize deeper interac-tions in complex systems. With the comprehensive skills specified in the qualityaustria certification programme, the Auditors are able to make audits and reduce the re-commendations of the ISO 19011 to practice in the diffe-rent assignments of audit tasks (Internal Audits, Supplier Audits, System or Process Audits etc.).

Procedure: The written examination consists of 40 mul-tiple-choice questions and takes 60 minutes followed by a practical case study example in which an audit is si-mulated and for which an audit plan and report must be produced. (Duration: 60 minutes). The oral examination consists of a simulated audit situation.

Prerequisites: Qualification in accordance with the cour-ses Auditor/Lead Auditor; Valid qualityaustria certifica-te Quality Systems Manager (incl. those with focus on healthcare, medical devices, food safety) or Environmen-tal Systems Manager (incl. those with focus on engergy) or Occupational Health and Safety Manager or an equi-valent EOQ certificate; Written proof of 4 years practical professional experience in a specialists or technical positi-on, which includes problem solving, decision making and communication with other managers or stakeholders as well as organisation of a working group in operational pro-cesses.; Implementation of audit activities, which means performance of at least 4 complete system or process audits of 20 days in total (minimum 16 days on site) within the last 3 years before certification. Out of these 4 audits, 3 audits have to be performed as audit leader (min. dura-tion: 15 days, at least 12 on site as a team leader).

Certificate: Upon successful completion of the examination and submission of proof of practical experience, the candidate will receive the certificate Lead Auditor accor-ding to the focused field. Additonally the respective EOQ Quality Lead Auditor cer-tificate can be issued on request for € 65 (excl. of 20% VAT). If the proof of practical experience is missing, the respective certi-ficate will be issued with the corresponding Lead Auditor in waiting status.
