SUMMARY OF RESTRUCTURING OF THE CHILDREN SERVICE

1. Children below thirteen years will attend the Children Service and the arrangement will be as follows:Í Children from one (1) to four (4) years will be in Level One.Í B. Children from five (5) to seven (7) years will be in Level

Two.Í Children from eight (8) to thirteen (13) years will be in Level

Three.Í Level One and Two will have their focus on artwork, videos

of Biblical stories, songs and the like suited to their particular levels. A maximum of 35 people has been allocated per every class created for easier animation.

Í Level Three will be in the form of Children's Liturgy. They will follow the structure of Holy Mass with their animators. They will serve as their own lectors and choir to enable them assimilate the spirit of the Mass. Eucharistic Ministers will take care of the distribution of Holy Communion to the communicants among them.

2. Youth from fourteen (14) to twenty-five (25) years will be at the Youth Mass at the Parish Hall. They will have their own lectors, choir and ushers. The youth leaders will be the supervisors. Those above the age range will be required to offer guidance and must be willing to participate fully, actively and consciously.

3. Youth from twenty-six and beyond will be encouraged to join any of the other Masses and the ministries at those Masses. Those who served in youth ministries will be integrated into the adult ministries.

4. There will be graduation ceremonies to mark the transition from one level to the other.

5. Due to these changes, we appeal to interested parishioners to put down their names at the Parish office for the role of animators.

6. We will need the support of the parents to make this new structural change work. We are counting on your cooperation.

We regret to announce the sudden death of Mad. Roberta Koblavie, a parishioner, which sadly occurred on 26th December, 2018. Funeral arrangements are as follows;Sat. 9th February, 2019 - Burial Mass at Christ the King Parish, Accra at 7.30am. Fri. 8th February, 2019 - Thanksgiving Mass at Christ the King Parish, Accra.

The death has been reported of Mrs. Georgina Warmann, mother of Dr. (Mrs) Irene Sogbodjor and Mrs. Mary Brown. Funeral arrangements are as follows;Thu. 7th February, 2019 - Laying in State and Liturgy of the Word at her residence at No. 1 Asafoatse Odweine Lane, Ringway Estates, Osu at 6.00pm - 10.00pm. Fri. 8th February, 2019 - Burial Mass at the Holy Spirit Cathedral at 7.30am to be followed by a private burial. Final funeral rites will be held at the premises of the Holy Spirit Cathedral
