The West Springfield Park & Recreation Department and the Rotary Club of West Springfield welcome you to the 58th annual Summer Concert Series. We continuously strive to expand and enhance our concert series and this year promises to be our best season yet with a first class lineup of performers. In addition, the majority of the concerts will take place at the Morgan Road Pavilion, and several concerts will offer the ability to purchase food and beverages. Bring your family, friends, neighbors and visitors as well as lawn chairs to each performance! The summer concerts represent one of the many reasons West Springfield is an ideal place to live, work and play.
West Springfield Parks & Recreation Department’s mission is creating a better community in which to live and play through quality recreational environments, enriching opportunities, and empowering people.
Rotary International is a worldwide organization made up of business and professional people who come together to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help make the world a more peaceful place. CONCERT 2 – THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE Thursday, June 3, 2021 – 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Morgan Road Pavilion 459 Morgan Rd., West Springfield, MA 01089
Beer, wine, soft drinks, food and snacks available
THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE aims to be the most authentic tribute show to the Eagles available today. There are many great bands on the road that market themselves as a “Tribute to the Eagles” or a “Tribute to Eagles music,” but this does not make them an actual “TRIBUTE SHOW.” With a one-to-one lineup that reflects
the Eagles during their heyday in the late 1970s, the members of THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE each emulate their respective “Eagle,” playing the correct instrument and singing the songs as sung by
their protégé. Every member of THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE is dedicated to presenting their part as accurately as possible and will provide you with an ultimate "Eagles Experience" you will not
soon forget.
THE EAGLES EXPERIENCE only plays songs written and recorded by the Eagles as a band, from their biggest hits to hidden gems. While there were many great songs by Don Henley, Glenn Frey,
and Joe Walsh as solo artists, the Eagles created more than enough musical material to fill an entire evening,
and then some.
Band members are:
Lincoln Hubley: Drums, Vocals Steve Kareta: Electric & Acoustic Guitars, Piano, Vocals Allen Stevens: Electric & Acoustic Guitars Piano, vocals
Tom Doherty: Electric Guitars, vocals Tommy Pluta: Bass Guitar, vocals

Storrowton Village Green Gazebo 1305 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089
After a stressful, trying and challenging year that we all have experienced, we are excited about being able to perform for our loyal and devoted fans. There’s nothing like music to wash away the anxiety of the pandemic, and make us feel good about the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
I believe it was Plato who said “music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.”
Performing for your listening pleasure are Ethel Lee as your vocalist, Ralph Whittle on keyboard, Steve Bulmer on bass, Ed Brainerd on trumpet, Mark Barowsky on saxophone and Clark Seibold on drums.
This concert is co-sponsored by Eastern States Exposition.
If inclement weather occurs, please call our Current Events Line at 413-781-3020 or visit the Weather Cancellations page on our
website, wsparkandrec.com, for an update on time and venue. Both will be updated after 3:30PM.

Storrowton Village Green Gazebo 1305 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089
Richie Mitnick has been entertaining enthusiastic audiences throughout New England and beyond for many years, first in his home of New York City and then, Western Massachusetts. He is famous for turning his keyboard into an entire orchestra. That is
why Richie is in great demand for Ballroom Dances. Through the years, Richie and his group, sometimes called “The Sounds Of Music Singers,” have performed countless concerts at Summer Concert Series and Holiday Shows. “Crowds always tell us that
these shows remind them so much of the great shows they remember such as The Andy Williams Show and Perry Como and
Tom Jones and Englebert TV shows,” Richie stated. “I am proud of that.”
Richie is thrilled to bring some of the area’s finest entertainers to these shows. Well known performers, including, Jessie Rivers, Ethel
Lee, Brad Shepard, Peter Annone and Joe Saimeri and Patti Liquore as well as many special guests. Richie also looks to his
amazingly talented wife, Kathy for her musical expertise, whether she’s performing on keyboard or organ, or producing
arrangements behind the scenes. We know you’ll enjoy a great afternoon or evening of entertainment that will take your heart
and your memory to a very happy place.

CONCERT 9 – SARAH THE FIDDLER Thursday, July 22, 2021 – 7:00 – 8:30 PM
Storrowton Village Green Gazebo 1305 Memorial Ave, West Springfield, MA 01089
Sarah’s musical journey began at the age of 4 when she started violin lessons using the Suzuki Method. By the age of 6, she was
introduced to fiddle music and began competing in fiddle contests all over New England. Her grandparents suggested
having a signature look....so she was known as the girl with the little red hat. Eventually it was her playing that was being
recognized as she won hundreds of competitions. These contests and festivals instilled Sarah’s passion for old-time music as she
learned and played alongside some of the best old-timers. Even her fiddle was given to her by New England fiddler Willie “Uncle Willie” Lapman and carries a history of over 200 years of song. The moment her bow touches the strings, Sarah's passion for music is evident. Combining her influences of Old-Time, Irish, World and Classical music, Sarah takes her audiences on a
musical journey from old-time sing-alongs, to lively polkas and rousing reels. Sarah currently performs with her husband Keith DaSilva on drums and Joe Dziok on piano & accordion. The
influences of these three musicians make for a high energy show loved by audiences of all ages.

Whiskey Traveler is an alternative country/Americana family band from Westfield, formed in 2015 by Jessica and Bernie Dion who performed locally for events around Westfield. When we were asked to perform Christmas songs for a company Bernie worked for, we had such a positive response and decided to ask Jonathan Dion to join us as lead guitar player and vocalist. Our next member to join the band was former pro wrestler and great all around musician, Phil Asarese at drums and physical security in 2016 switching to our current Bass Player in 2019. Our missing piece was Pete Asarese on drums, never letting us skip a beat. In 2017 Whiskey Traveler recorded an EP of original songs with the help of Mike Freedmen, former owner of Riverside Productions in Westfield, Mass. We perform locally at bars and fairs, including the Westfield Food Fest, charitable causes like Rays of Hope, and have had the honor to open for outlaw country artist and 5 time Josie Awards nominated, Dee Rock, at the Home Front Equestrian Fundraiser. Ideas for originals and covers are presented to the whole band who add their own talents and “opinions.” For upcoming events and contact information, check our Facebook https://m.facebook.com/whiskeytraveler.

High Energy Classic Rock & Blues Party Band from Western Mass playing all your danceable favorites from the 60's - today, from Johnny Cash to the Violent Femmes and everything in between!...with our own little twist and tons of fun! "Get The Gist?" We cover a lot of Classic Rock era songs from the 1970s as well as Alternative Rock era songs from the 1990s. Sometimes we'll throw some more recent material into the mix to keep our set a little more current. We also like to put our own spin on some of our tunes just to shake things up a bit. Typically, we have something for everyone who likes rock and roll music!
