Lesson 7.7 WarmUp:Find each sum or difference. 1) (3c2    c  +  11)  +  (c2  +  2c  +  8)

2) (3c2    c  +  11)    (c2  +  2c  +  8)

Simplify each expression.3) 3(5x2  +  2x  +  9)  +  x(2x    3)

4) 9g(2g  +  g2)    3(g2  +  4)

Solve this equation:5) 9c(c    11)  +  10(5c    3)  =  3c(c  +  5)  +  c(6c    3)    30

Lesson 7.7:*To multiply 2 binomials, you can use the distributive property.

(3x     4)(2x  +  5)

..."OR"...You can use  F

**When 2 linear expressions are multiplied, the result is a "quadratic expression".

(the expression contains one term with a degree of 2)

***FYI...there is not a "foil" or shortcut method to multiplying other polynomials  must use the distributive property!
