Why did I join the school?• For career purposes• Knew that I wasn’t going to be as successful as I want

to be in the future without a college degree under my belt• Want to actually apply things that I’ve learned in class

to the outside world• All my life I knew that I couldn’t fall into a deep hole

with everyone else and now I’m making a change instead of just talking about it

Trials and Tribulations Lost loved ones dear to my heart (I’ve lost my parents) Ran into trouble growing up (involved in illegal activities) Surviving on my own and finding myself (lived on the streets/house

to house)

Blessings and pushing forward

Getting my life on track (working/ building my portfolio) Having my sons keep me motivated (thinking about what future to

give them) People that care about me are helping (my family members are

happy that I’m pushing forward and making the most out of it, after all I’ve lost the things their doing only escalate me more to prevail)

Future Endeavors Investing in my future (doing/finishing school) Possessing my own business (gaining more knowledge to use

professionally) A future for my sons (want them to go to college/be successful) Own a house (a permanent home for my family to settle) Retire with no complications (enjoy the rest of life and being

financially stable)
