cookies from my pocket, and I (give)__________them to the dog. He

While he was eating, I (walk)____________away.

A half hour later, I finally (arrive)__________home. I (look)__________in my

pocket for the key, but it wasn’t there. I guess I (lose)___________it when I

was feeding the dog. I (decide)___________to get into the house through the

living room window.

A few minutes later I (be)__________upstairs. Then somebody (shout)________,

“Help!” I (be)___________so nervous that I (trip)________over a chair and

(fall)______down.
