ACCOMMODATION

Our village-like complex consists of 527 rooms & apartments (for a total of 1,200 beds):

ǡ 226 sea view and garden view rooms (single, double, triple and family suites) in our 4-storey Main Building, and

ǡ 301 family rooms & apartments in 2-storey Bungalows, arranged around gardens & pools (82 of which are reserved for our Time-Sharing guests).

HOTEL INFORMATION

Golden Coast Hotel & Bungalows is located on the golden, sandy beach of the famous Marathon Bay, and operates from April until October each year.

HISTORICAL & LOCAL INFORMATION

There are plenty of historical and cultural places of interest close to the hotel. Marathon is the legendary site of the battle of Marathon in 490 BC, in which the heavily outnumbered Athenian army defeated the Persians during a historic battle. On a more modern and commercial note, from the hotel’s beach you can take the scenic route and walk along the beach path all the way to the nearby town of Nea Makri, where you will find banks, shops, restaurants, bars, as well as an outdoor summer cinema.
