You will be brought to the Activate Account and Reset Password page where you will select your type of account from under the ACTIVATE ACCOUNT heading. Click ACTIVATE ACCOUNT under Applicants, New or Returning Students, and Alumni.

On the Verify Status screen, enter your Student Number or Campus ID and your Birthdate in the format YYYYMMDD. For example, if you were born on May 15, 1990 then enter the birthdate as 19900515. After entering both fields click Next.

The Computer Account Agreement will be displayed. Read the agreement, select “I Agree” and click Next.

The Set Password screen will be shown. Enter in a new password. Please note that your password must be between 10-30 characters and must contain at least 3 different types of characters (i.e. lowercase, uppercase, numbers or special characters). Confirm the new password by entering it again in the Confirm New Password Field. Click Next.

A summary screen will be displayed with your Campus ID, Computer Account, and Email Address. Click Finish.

Your account is now activated and ready to use (NOTE: it typically takes 2 to 24 hours for your account to fully initialize, so you may not be able to log in until after 24 hours have passed). You can log into my.brocku.ca, Office 365 and access all other programs & services on-campus that require your Campus ID. Please note that you will be required to provide additional information when you log in for the first time in order to set up self-service password reset. For more information on that topic, please refer to our Self-Service Password Reset Setup guide.

On the Verify Status screen, enter the Personal Email you entered into Workday and your Campus ID or Employee Number. Check “I’m not a robot” and complete the CAPTCHA pop-up that appears. Click Next.

If the email address you entered is found in our system, you will receive an email containing instructions to set your password and finish activating your account. Click Finish.

Check your personal email inbox for an email sent from Portal Admin ([email protected]), containing instructions on how to set your password. If you do not receive the email, contact the IT Helpdesk (x4357) for assistance. From within the email, click the “Click here to set your password” button. (NOTE: this link is valid for only 30 minutes, so if you do not set your password within this time frame, you will need to start over.)
