Chapter 13College Retired Members
Several of the long-standing members of the Broward College Chapterof AFC have retired in this last fiscal year. There were retirement events andparties and lots of good wishes and tears.
We are showcasing four of those members in this chapter:
• Lois Bolton, Central Campus Provost, retired June 22, 2010
• Irmgard Bocchino, Associate Vice President, the Robert (Bob)Elmore Honors Institute, retired September 28, 2010
• Barbara Cohen Pippin, Special Assistant to the President forGovernmental Relations, retired October 25, 2010
• Jillian Printz, Special Assistant to the President for Public Rela-tions, retired January 2011
• Beverly Walker, Executive Assistant in the Broward CollegeFoundation, retired May 23, 2011

College Retired Members ActivitiesA happy bunch of AFC Broward Chapter members headed to a new
stage in their lives this year. Each and every one of them has left a heritage forother members to cherish and take it to the next level. Farewells were said andexpressed in different heart-felt ways to each of the retirees this year.
For Irmgard Bocchino, Trish Joyce spoke eloquently about her long re-lationship to her. Mildred Foster, Avis McCoy, President Armstrong and othersspoke about her.
For Lois Bolton, the photos of Lois with Rick Leffel, Rivka Spiro, XiaoWang and Avis McCoy speak for themselves.
For Barbara Pippin, Anne Berman helped plan the event. The photos ofAvis Procand Xiao express the feelings overtaking the room. For Jillian, friendsand colleagues gathered to wish her a happy new chapter in her life afterBroward.
Last but not least, for Beverly Walker, the AFC Broward Chapter honoredher with an award.
For their achievements, their energy spent at AFC and for all that madethem be remembered in this last chapter of the Yearbook 2010-2011, our re-tirees will always remain part of the AFC family!
