This year 2015, AIESEC in Uganda is proud to hold the biggest induction seminar in the last two decades attracting over 200 local and

international delegates.

The SWIFT conference is AIESEC in Uganda’s National induction seminar, that brings together all Local Chapters together with the MC,

Newbies, EPs, FACis, Companies and the media.

Nine LCs will be fully represented @SWIFT 2015

Swift Conference will include 3 Tracks

Leaders Track. Leaders will be given strategic, leadership and

management skills to improve their Local Chapter management.

Newies Track. New members in AIESEC will be given knowledge

about the organization and also inducted into their roles

Interns Track. This track is tailored to provide cultural training, networking

and goal development for Exchange Participants.

It’s with great honour that I write to you, sharing the great passion and pride of the CC team, who dream to host

Swift2015. This dream comes from the unique fact that our country represents the diverse and ideal environment

of an organisation of this nature.

By having Swift2015, AIESEC in Uganda is once again putting our youth a step ahead of their time as this

provides an opportunity for the youth to become more competitive as well as be more connected to the rest of the

world, fulfilling the promise stated in Stockholm in 1948.

Being on the CC team, means to make this dream come true: to allow the general public to understand what

AIESEC is and why we do what we do. This amazing conference is the physical representation of the steps we are

taking to achieve Vision2020. It’s also a wonderful moment where we get to see young leaders come together to

discover their potential.

We have been working collectively to ensure that this is the most engaging, inspiring and exciting conference for

all the delegates. Swift2015 is where it all begins, where you have a chance to connect with AIESEC, a chance to

understand why we put so much in this organisation, a chance to understand how we get so much out of it and a

chance to understand our place and roles within AIESEC in Uganda.

By just our conference theme “Engage, Activate, Motivate”, this explains a lot and I hope you take charge of your

leadership drive by attending SWIFT 2015.

Imagine the vast spectrum of all the cultures in the world. Listen to the music from the

gentle drum beats of Africa, to the melodic didgeridoo of Australia, to the

Scream of the electric guitar. Taste the curry from Asia, the coconut milk from

Europe, the cheeseburger from the North America. Now imagine that all these

Cultures are compressed into one super-culture.

The individually unique music is now a raucous cacophony. The individually savory

flavors are a muddled sludge. All the countries in the world are united under one

village “global village”
