The joint impact of the ‘known knowns and known unknowns’ from fraud and crime against businesses has been growing in recent years. Restructuring professionals must understand the crucial intersection of fraud, bankruptcy law, criminal law, and other areas to assess effectively the impact on valuation and restructuring alternatives as well as damages calculations.
