By submitting an application for and receiving approval to hold an event under the rules of the American Kennel Club, the club accepts and agrees to the AKC Board Policy on Photographing & Videotaping at AKC Events (www.akc.org/rules/policy-manual/).

The application may be submitted by Email, by Fax or by mail. A separate application is required for each Trial date. Incomplete applications will not be approved.

Option 1 Entries are only allowed for the club’s breed.

Option 2 If entries are limited, the club may accept entries for dogs of their own breed(s) first, then accept entries from group breeds or all breeds* until the entry limit is reached.

Special Event Obedience Trial Description A Special Event Obedience Trial is where the host club proposes a unique mix of AKC obedience classes and/or non-regular classes or a unique eligibility criterion. A club may select the classes and/or divisions offered at a Special Event Obedience Trial and may offer the upper level classes without offering the lower level classes. A club may establish unique eligibility criterion to enter the event. A club may not change any other part of the Regulations pertaining to the class requirements or exercises, including the equipment requirements. Special Event Trials must be open to all breeds, including dogs listed with AKC Canine Partners, except at specialty events limited to one breed/group. A club may only apply for two Special Event Obedience Trials per year. Please describe the Special Event criterion below or in a separate document that accompanies the application:
