Pat and I would like to Thank everyone
that donated to our mission work. We
could not do it without all of you. The
clothes, food, personal hygiene items, and
monies for school supplies. The smallest
item to the largest, it does not matter; it
all helps. We have been doing this for 15
years and God has blessed us with good
health and good friends. A special thanks
to Jan Bennin and Jan turner for all the
items left from the garage sale. Pat and I
are working in the United States only due
to the unrest in Mexico. We are working
with three Colonias in Mission and Edin-
burg. Thank You for all the blessings you
have given us to pass on to the poor. God
is Great. God Bless You All!

A big “Thank You” to all who worked so hard at our January, 2015 garage sale—you are awesome! Dorys Lamothe & Peirre Hebert, Bill & Sandra Shannon, Kay & Tom Pinar, Connie & Curt Jackson, Kathy Hoffman, Ruth Kal-way, Anita & Leroy Kloch, Donna & Stan Snyder, Rosie Raiter, Kathy & Gib Holst, Dorothy & son, John Rosenboom, Barbara & Don Kannon, Jean & Jim Nielson, Janet Chelberg, Joanne Bolton, Ann Briscoe, Len Doehling for use of storage shed, Anna Ma-rie DeBella & Tom Socolofsky for use of storage shed, Ron Hammer for help with the storage shed all summer long. Jerry Weidner and crew for tables, Charles Hop-kins for trailer use, quilting ladies for their tables, Barry Blakeley for cookies, Frank & Grace Goretzka for coffee, and Jim Conklin for scrubbing the floors.
The following “Thank You” was unintentionally
omitted in the February News & Views. My
apologies! Your Editor, Kathy Dickey
Pat and I would like to thank all of the great people
that helped with Taco Tuesdays. You worked very hard
to make this a success and that it was. We served 475
happy Taco Eaters on our last Tuesday, Come on back
next year so we can hit our goal of 500. Thanks to the
newly married couple for providing the great music.
Also a Big Thanks to everyone who helped with the
Chicken Dinner. We served 200. See You All Next Year.
Think Tacos.
Ron & Pat Turany
Grace and I would like to thank all of
the people that helped put on the
B&G Breakfast on February 21. We
are concerned because the turnout
at the Breakfast was only about 80
people. The next Biscuit and Gravy
Breakfast will be on Saturday, March
21. Please join us then. Remember
all of the money from the events
goes to the Activities Fund to sup-
port all of Aladdin's activities.
Frank Goretzka
I joined USAA in 1972, at that time you had to be an
Officer in the Military to belong, now things have
changed dramatically. If you are a relative of some-
one who has served in the military, you are eligible to
belong. We have our checking, savings, master card,
and our auto, home owners and liability of our golf
cart. Our ins premium is approximately $1300 for 6
months. But USAA has what they call a Subscriber's
Savings Account which is similar to profit shar-
ing. This year we got $866 refund in our Savings Ac-
count. This is well worth looking into.

We received so many positive comments on the
decorations at the Style Show and we would like
to thank all those involved. We appreciate the
woodcarvers for sharing their space with us.
Thanks to John Kuchenbecker, Gale Cratsen-
berg and Richard Myers for cutting out 528 nap-
kin holders, to Jim Preston and Tony Eckroth for
their woodworking skills. Can't forget the
girls: Kathy Holst and Donna Snyder for helping
to paint 29 years of programs and they along
with Ruthie Kalway and Noma Cratsenberg for
other cutting, painting and gluing tasks, Kathy
and Donna plus Grace Lukes and Jean Lukens
for decorating the Hall. And a special thank you
to Michelle Varnado for her help in baking and
decorating 24 cakes. It was work --- a lot of work
--- but we had fun doing it.

THANK YOU TO ALL, YAHOO, we
made it, this was a lot of hard
work from each and every one of
you!!!!!!! Michelle nor I could have
made this year’s FASHION SHOW a
success if it wasn't for ya'll. This com-
munity is so much like a family, we
share our tears, lean on one another,
and laugh and enjoy one another, and
sometimes squabble with each other,
but nobody better talk bad about one of
our family. So for you all Brothers &
Sisters a very heart felt THANK YOU
goes out. OUR LOVE GOES OUT TO
ALL WHO WORKED, AND AT-
TENDED THE 2015 SHOW. We are
honored to live here and be adopted in-
to the family of ALADDIN VILLAS.
Nancy Bowen and Michelle Varnado
If you wish to have your fruit trees picked
or cleaned off, John Byl, 712-395-1810,
from Mission Bell will do it for you. He
gives the fruit to the needy. Give him a
call.
