GERMAN DOOR

WHAT IS THE GERMAN DOOR?

It is a set of three woods plump, which when assembled, form a trapeze along with the floor where they are placed.

PARTIES AND FEATURES

• The parties that make up the german doors are:

• CAPIZ: Is a roundwood which is placed horizontally on the top of the door.

• The Capiz rests on two levers.

TYPES OF CAPIZ

• CAPIZ SIMPLE: Has a single tooth.

• CAPIZ OF DOUBLE TOOTH OR DOUBLE PIN.

LEVERS: timbers are plump that argue the Capiz door

• TIPLER: wood which is placed between the doors, to prevent door tilt forward or backward. Carry the same direction of the track and are perpendicular to the doors, the cuts of the sopranos are made in the mouth-fish.

• WEDGES: are pieces of wood that are placed between the door and the rock to fit.

• LINING WOOD: wood thickness of eight to ten cm, which are placed between the door and the rock. It is used to prevent the release of the rock toward the track.
