METHOD OF JUDGING TRAINING STAKES CLASSES. Animals will be required to jump a course of fences, they
will immediately be asked to give a short show including a change of rein and a gallop in the same ring. The
marks will be in accordance with WHP. Ponies may not be shown on the Lead rein. Any suitable tack.

THIS SHOW IS A R.I.H.S. QUALIFYING SHOW FOR PRETTY POLLY CLASSES. Qualifying status as per 2013
rulebook. Only one pony in each of the following: - Heritage L/R, Heritage F/R, Mixed Height Show Pony and
Mixed Height Show Hunter Pony [two classes] & Ridden Heritage will qualify. If the first has already
qualified the next eligible will go forward [down to 3rd place]. Owners and riders must be BSPS members
and the pony registered with the BSPS to compete in classes with RIHS and /or Blue Riband qualification.
This Show is a qualifier for BLUE RIBAND PONY OF THE YEAR. 1st
& 2nd

This Show is a qualifier for THE BSPS “CLASSIC SECURITY UK LTD”CHALLENGE ponies qualify as follows: -
L/R & F/R, Open Show Pony, Open W.H.P., Open S.H.P., Nursery /Cradle Stakes, Open Intermediate and
Heritage classes. The highest placed pony that has not qualified for the 2013 Horse of the Year Show in the
appropriate class, will qualify. If the highest placed pony has already qualified, the qualification will be
awarded to the next eligible pony. If after qualification a pony qualifies for the 2013 Horse of the Year Show
it will forfeit its qualification for the BSPS CHALLENGE.
This show is a qualifier for the BSPS “BLACK COUNTRY SADDLES”BEST RIDER. The best rider from each of
the following classes at all BSPS affiliated shows will qualify: - Open Show Pony, Show Hunter Pony, Working
Hunter Pony, Open L/R / F/R, L/R of Hunter Type, Heritage, Cradle/Nursery stakes and Open Intermediate
classes.
This show is a qualifier for the BSPS PREMIER LEAGUE COMPETITION. The 1st, 2nd
, 3rd & 4th
placed ponies
in the following open classes Cradle Stakes, Heritage Ridden & Heritage WHP, LR,FR,SP,LRHT,SHP, ISRT will
qualify.
NCPA Affiliation No. 128/13. This show is a qualifier for the NCPA PONY OF THE YEAR at Rodbaston
Equestrian Centre in September 2013. 1st & 2nd Prize-winners in appropriate classes will qualify and the
highest not qualified in the first six for the Part Bred Welsh in the appropriate classes.
This show is affiliated to the BRITISH SHOW HORSE ASSOCIATION. Held under the rules of the B.S.H.A.
Horses must be registered with the Association and all owners, exhibitors and riders must be Association
members. Riders must be 15 years of age or older. Classes 18-19, 21-22, 24-26 are qualifiers for R.I.H.S. The
1st
prize winner will qualify to compete at the final. If already qualified the 2nd
will qualify, if the 1st
& 2nd
are
already qualified that the 3rd
will go forward. Horses competing in the Sport Horse Breeding of GB classes at
their affiliated shows cannot compete in Hack and Riding Horse classes at the same show. This does not
apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes.The three highest placed prize winners in all open
affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the B.S.H.A Classic Supreme classes at the National
Championship Show on 13th
& 14th
September 2013. The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider and Amateur
rosette in each open class and a Championship rosette for each section.
BRITISH SHOW HORSE ASSOCIATION – DAY TICKETS. Non-Members may purchase up to a maximum of
2 Day Tickets per exhibitor, per horse per season. A Day Ticket will allow entry into Novice, Amateur, Young
Rider, Home Produced, Working and Open affiliated classes only but will not allow entry into RIHS or HOYS
qualifying classes. Horses registered on a Day Ticket do not require a JMB height certificate. Competitors
can apply for a Day Ticket by downloading an application form from the BSHA website.
This show is a qualifier for RIHS & THE NATIONAL HUNTER SUPREME CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW. All Hunter
classes will be judged under society rules. Classes 29-32 are qualifying events for this years NHSCS and only
horses registered on the current year Show Hunter register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers must
be quoted on entry forms and owners and riders must be members of the Society. The three highest placed
horses in each class will qualify to enter at the NHSCS. No horse under than 3rd
in it’s class will qualify.
RIHS – Only horses registered on the current year Show Hunter registration are eligible to enter. The Society
designates certain shows as qualifying shows for the RIHS at which horses may qualify for the RIHS in the
current year or at specific shows for the following year. At these shows the two highest placed horses in the
Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, Small and Ladies (side saddle) Classes will qualify to enter at the
RIHS. No horse lower than second will qualify. All regulations applicable to HOYS qualifiers will apply also to
RIHS qualifiers.
VETERANS - No Foals, Spurs, Galloping, Or Wearing Of Face/Body Jewellery Permitted. Minimum Age of
Handler - Inhand classes - 9yrs, Ridden competitors must be over I6yrs, Competitors cannot enter the Ring
once the Command of Trot has been given. The Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Olympia Area Qualifiers are
open to both Members & Non Members of the Veteran Horse Showing/Society. Please note all competitors
should acquaint themselves with the rules of the VHS they can be found at www.veteran-horse-
showing.co.uk . Qualification cards will be handed out in the ring at the time of presentation.
Competitors only need one qualification card. In hand classes - 1 qualification card = for ridden classes
If already qualified this card must be handed down the line.
Next stage regional finals – You can only compete in a Regional final if you are fully paid member and your
animal is registered with a Veteran Horse Showing Olympia Show card. Once you have qualified at an Area
qualifier and you have received a Regional Acceptance card Only then may you compete in the Regional l
final . The Regional Champions will go on to compete at the Veteran Horse Showing Ltd Championship
Supreme Final at the London International Horse Show at Olympia in December. THE SAME RIDER
COMBINATION MUST BE AT AREA/REGIONAL/GRAND FINAL. The highest placed animal in each class will

CHAPS - This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK). Both owner and the
rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS
(UK) to compete. The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 29th-31st August 2013. Shows held
on or after date of Championship Show will count as 2014 qualifiers. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS
(UK) for appropriate qualifier card. The following classes are CHAPS (UK) Qualifiers [Show Secretary to insert
class numbers]. For full rulings and information on competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS (UK)
Members’ Handbook; or visit www.chapsuk.com for rulings. All stallions entering these classes must be
graded or valid First Stage Approved with CHAPS (UK). First stage approved stallions are NOT permitted to
enter HOYS Qualifiers. All stallions must wear Stallion ID Discs in the ring.
