LET’S TALK ABOUT UXAND PERSONAS

Introduction

WHAT IS UX?

It is the experience a person have (and how he/she feels) when interacting not just your app, system, but your product, services, your staff, the whole company.

Two different restaurants, two different experiences. Two different restaurants, two different experiences.

Each person will decide if they like one or another, and we all have different preferences and experiences.

UX IS NOT ONLY ABOUT THE INTERFACE

But we use the interface to provide experiences to the user

UX ELEMENTSby Jesse James Garrett

WHERE DO WE START?

Know your users, by using:

PERSONAS

PERSONA

It is a representation of a type of user for which we are developing an app.

It helps us to put on their shoes.

What would this persona do?

HOW DO WE MAKE A PERSONA?1. Gather all you know about your users, you can use post-its or an excel to ease the

sorting and grouping; you’ll start seeing patterns.

2. Find real people that match with these values and features, talk to them, know them, capture their essence, if you can, ask them questions and solve doubts.

3. Go back to your post-its or excel and enhance your data.

4. Identify the predominant groups or features.

5. Describe one character with these features (5 different personas maximum).

B. Test any social network, online service, app, etc you can

2. Be open mind
