The language I have used on my poster immediately grabs theaudience attention with the use of a rhetorical question ; Whats in itfor you?. This involves language features such as a slogan as I amlooking to draw in the readers. This is an example of Barthes enigma

codes to engage the audience in the narrative.

The Colour scheme I have used was created in order to fit around theWembley Stadium logo. The different use of blue shades worksaffectively amongst the white writing as it makes my masthead standsout. Blue is a dominant colour stereotypical known for boys, but it can

also be seen as reflecting the positive blue sky nature of my paper toattract a variety of audiences. The colour can also represent calmnessand seriousness, as the article contains a lot of serious features whichworks well with the colour scheme.

The Image I have used, The Wembley Stadium, is very relevant to mynewspaper as the logo clearly demonstrates an outline of this iconicbuilding. Using my newspaper within my poster directly shows a linkand how it emphasises its location of the paper, Wembley. Featuressuch as using the Wembley Stadium arch alongside the logo workswell together as I am reinforcing its importance. The Wembley archseems to sore away into the blue sky and gives an optimistic balanceto the lead story which is about teenage murder.

The use of Page flap is pulling away the general image to reveal thereality of the local news. The slogan Whats in it for you? is arhetorical question which leaves the audience keen, which works wellwith the page flap as they are peeling the picture to find out the

The impression my poster gives to the audiences is a sense of believability as Iam evidently showing the readers my paper is based on Wembley as the imageand masthead both emphasise this.

The composition of the poster is neatly arranged in order for the audience tounderstand it. I have used a long shot of the Wembley stadium in order to fit it all

in so the audience are aware of the iconic building I am using. I have digitallymanipulated my work by overlapping the Wembley stadium image onto mynewspaper to emphasise its relevance. The first thing the audience will notice isthe Wembley stadium, so immediately they will know the area my paper isserving. The size and layout of the slogan is big enough to read from a distancewhich is vital if I am looking to draw in more readers. The words and image fittogether as I have stated that my poster is about Wembley which gives the

audience the comfort of having its expectations confirmed. The font is kept basic and simple in order to demonstrate seriousness and

Overall my poster workseffectively as I have creativelydesigned the Page flap whichshows the unveiling of mynewspaper. This promotes mynewspaper by its Brand name aswritten in the slogan, and alsohow its presented as shown onmy newspaper masthead. It gives a good indication of whatis inside as I have demonstratedfeatures of Wembley by showingits iconic image of the Stadiumwhich tells the readers mynewspaper will be about news inWembley.

    Because of the geographic area

that my paper is serving it will berepresenting the local area to anaudience ranging through socialclass categories from B-E.It represents the readers interestas the poster reveals a bad storylinked to murder which shows the

audience are interested in badnews which can be seen as good
