more than a century’s worth of British colonial rule in Malaysia’.

• Thus, the context of teaching the young learners would be associated with the students in the schools and adult learners would be connected with those who are in the tertiary level or those who are already working

OBJECTIVE• The main objective of this paper is to

identify how the process of andragogy affects researchers’ pedagogical beliefs in the teaching and learning of English as a second language based on the three aspects being focused.

The Research Questions

• 1. What are the steps taken by the educators in the andragogy class?

• 2. What are the questioning techniques used in the andragogy class?

• 3. How are the group and pair work activities carried out in the andragogy class?
