Waikerie Lutheran Primary School is a Christ-Centred community equipping each student for life.
Today in Art Club, the students were given the choice to do some colouring in, make an Emoji chart or
play with blocks. Art Club is run by our Chaplain, Mrs Moira Ganner every Monday and Wednesday lunch
time. Mrs Ganner provides a variety of activities for the students to enjoy, with colouring in and hands on
activities being extremely well received.
ART CLUB ACTIVITIES
100 DAY’S OF SCHOOL CELEBRATION
FOUNDATION/YEAR 1 Last Friday, the students in Foundation/Year 1 were treated to a party to
celebrate 100 days of school for 2020! The students played a number of party
games such as pass the parcel, pin the dummy on the baby and musical
statues before enjoying some party food for lunch such as pizza, fruit and cup
cakes. It was a great way for the students, particularly the Foundation students,
to commemorate this milestone and celebrate the progress they have made
at school so far this year. The smiles on their faces says it all!
CORNER OF PEACE God is light and it is His light that broke though the chaos that existed on earth in the beginning. This is the light
that was good and put out the darkness. With God was His Word, and it is His Word who came into the world
as Jesus to bring light and life to mankind. He gave this light and life to those who had trusting faithfulness in
Him and is still giving it to those who trust in Him.
God bless you all this week

SCHOOL NEWS
STUDENT VOICE
Hello, this is the school captains here reporting for duty!
This week we are going to talk to you about Mr Borgas’ invention of Share, Taray
(a word invention by Mr Borgas that is a combination of talk and pray), Bless.
This is a system we are using for Chapel and it’s all about inquiring into God and
your relationship with Him. This program’s purpose is to invite our younger
students to participate with Chapel as well as learn about God the Heavenly
Father. Last week the theme was all about your heavenly “Daddy” and students
had the opportunity to bring in something that reminded them of a Dad or
Grandpa or any family member.
Have a wonderful week,
Grace, Isabella, Amali and Natalie

celebrate the demonstration of these principles we would like to award the following students this week:
