Dear Parents/Carers Democracy rules at The Willows! Following a wealth of speeches given by children who had bravely put themselves forward to apply for a role of responsibility, voting has taken place and we were able to present the successful candidates with their badges this week. Seeing our pupils excitedly congratulate their peers shows what lovely children we have at The Willows. We were reduced to tears, but a number of children were too: simply overwhelmed by the surprise of their successful application. It was another heart-warming occasion in school. I know that the children will be able to work well together, making wise decisions to further develop the environment they work in. Im sure that our children will be able to teach our current politicians a lesson or two! Many of you are aware that we are awaiting repair work to take place on the scaffolding which is situated between our Nursery and The Mount building. Unfortunately, due to no fault of our own, this is taking longer than anticipated. As soon as I receive further information about this situation, I will update you. As frustrating as this may be for us, it is pleasing to note that the children have remained unfazed by the changes we have had to make to accommodate them in school. • Dear Parents/Carers

Democracy rules at The Willows! I’m sure that our children will be able to teach our current politicians a lesson or two!
