From the Damask - Yellow (A), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 6 ½” x 9 ½” strips.

From the Damask - Black (B), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (5) 6 ½” squares.

From the Foulard - Yellow (C), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 6 ½” x 9 ½” strips.

From the Flower Toss - Black (D), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (6) 6 ½” squares.

From the Vine - Yellow (E), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (4) 6 ½” x 9 ½” strips.

From the Foulard - White (J), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (3) 6 ½” x 10 ½” strips.

From the Damask - White (K), cut:• (1) 6 ½” x WOF strip. Sub-cut strip into (3) 6 ½” x 10 ½” strips.

From the Folio - White (L), cut:• (10) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (6) 2” x 60 ½” strips.• Cut (2) 6 ½” x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into (42) 1 ½” x 6 ½” strips.

From the Foulard - Grey (M), cut:• (4) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 2” x 60 ½” strips.• (3) 2” x WOF strips. Sew the strips together, end to end with diagonal seams, and cut (2) 2” x 54 ½” strips.

From the Border Stripe - White (N), cut:• (2) 6 ½” x 79” strips from the length of fabric (LOF).• (2) 6 ½” x 70” LOF strips.

From the Folio - Black (O), cut:• (7) 2 ½” x WOF strips for the binding.

From the Vine - White (Backing), cut:• (2) 74” x WOF strips for the backing. Sew the strips together and trim to make the 74” x 83” back.

Sewing Instructions1. Sew (1) 6 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric A strip, (6) 1 ½” x 6 ½” Fabric L strips, (1) 6 ½” Fabric B square, (1) 6 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric C strip, (1) 6 ½” Fabric D square, (1) 6 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric E strip, (1) 6 ½” Fabric F square and (1) 6 ½” x 9 ½” Fabric G strip together to make Column One.

2. Repeat Step 1 using the fabrics shown in the quilt layout diagram to make Columns Two, Three, Four, Five, Six and Seven.

Quilt Top Assembly (Refer to the Quilt Layout while assembling.)3. Sew the (7) columns, in numerical order, and (6) 2” x 60 ½” Fabric L strips together, alternating them, to make the quilt top.

4. Sew (1) 2” x 60 ½” Fabric M strip to each side of the quilt top. Sew (1) 2” x 54 ½” Fabric M strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top.

8. Layer and quilt as desired.

9. Sew the (7) 2 ½” x WOF Fabric O strips together, end to end with 45-degree seams, to make the binding. Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides together and press.

10. Bind as desired.

7. Starting at the sewn seam (represented by the arrow in Figure 1), draw a 45-degree line to the edge of the fabric. Sew on the drawn line. Trim the excess fabric leaving a ¼” seam. Repeat this step with the remaining corners.

6. Repeat Step 5 to sew (1) 6 ½” x 70” Fabric N strip to the top and to the bottom of the quilt top, making sure to stop and start ¼” away from each end of the quilt top. To miter each corner, fold the quilt top on a diagonal, wrong side together. This should line up the strips from adjacent sides (Fig. 1).

5. Center (1) 6 ½” x 79” Fabric N strip on one side of the quilt top and pin in place. Start sewing the strip a ¼” from the top edge of the quilt top and stop a ¼” from the bottom edge. DO NOT TRIM THE EXCESS. Repeat with the opposite side.
