CATEGORY AND ACCEPTABLE VEHICLE TYPES COMMENT

Category 1 – Charge @30

Cars, MPVs, Estate Cars, People Carriers, Rear Passenger Seat Jeep or 4x4 Type Vehicles.

Waste delivered by:

Pedestrian, Bicycle or Motorbike is charged as a Category 1 waste.

Category 2- Charge @60

Small Vans, Car Vans (see note 1)

Small Trailer carrying up to 1.5 m3 (see note 2)

Non Rear Passenger Seat Jeep/MPV/4x4 Type Vehicles.


Intermediate Vans (see note 1)

Intermediate Trailers carrying up to 3 m3 (see note 2)

Vehicles larger than Intermediate Vans (e.g. Transit Vans), are not permitted except when delivering bulky items only.

Household Hazardous Waste – Charge @4 If delivered with other non chargeable waste.

Household Hazardous Waste – Free If delivered with other chargeable waste i.e. category 1-6 waste.

Vehicle Charging StructureApplicable to any or all of the following: Wood, Bulky Items, General Waste, Soil, Stones and Household Construction & Demolition Waste with or without Green Garden Waste included. No food waste.

Note 1 Vans are classified in accordance with the “Van Classification Guidance” document which is available for inspection at the facility.

Note 2 Trailer category is based upon a best estimation of the gross volume of material being carried and not the volume of the trailer itself.

Note 3 Vehicles and trailers are charged separately.

Note 4 Waste carried on the roof of vehicles will be subject to trailer rules.

Ballyogan Recycling Park is located in a residential area. Please be considerate to

our neighbours when accessing the site.

Do not sound car horns unless absolutely necessary, do not block entrances or

cause obstruction to other users of the public roads.
