The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Trinity Sunday is the feast celebrated a week afterPentecost Sunday. While every Mass is the worship ofthe Triune God, this Sunday specifically calls us toh o n o u r t h e m o s tfundamental of all Christianbeliefs, the mystery of oneGod in three Divine Persons.The Father, the Son, and theHoly Spirit, are all equallyGod, and cannot be divided.

A few things will change when the food bank closeson 1 September 2017. After that date we will nolonger accept food items in our donation baskets.Financial donations to St. Vincent de Paul can still bemade in our donation boxes placed in 3 locations inthe church or at the parish office. You will no longerhave to shop and carry heavy bags of food donationson a regular basis. It also means that financial supportwith your name and address will now generate anannual tax receipt issued by St. Vincent de Paul.There may be requests at special times of the year,such as Thanksgiving or Christmas for select items toassist in creating seasonal school hampers. With yourcontinuing support our work with the schools will seethe needs of many children addressed as we all know“that hungry children can’t learn.”

A special invitation to join Corpus Christi CWL goesout to those who have not renewed or have never beena member. How can I join? Any female 16 years andover, address an envelope CWL, put your name,address, phone number and email address along witha $25 membership fee (for the year 2017). Knights of Columbus #9295 News

Barbecue - Council #9295 will be holding theirannual barbecue on Monday, June 12 on the Rectorypatio starting at 5:30 pm at a cost of $10.00 per

Parish Movie Nights

Our Parish Movie Nights will be taking a break forthe summer months, but will resume in September.

Parish News & Events

The monthly calendars for the Prayer for Priests andMass intentions are available for pick up at allentrances for those interested. They are also posted onall bulletin boards for your convenience.

Our patronal Feast of Corpus Christi will becelebrated next Sunday, June 18. Weather permitting,there will be a procession after the 11:00 am Mass, tothe grotto at St. Joseph Heritage and returning back tothe church for benediction.

Healing Service - A short service will take place including the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament onTuesday, June 20 at 7:00 pm in our church. Prayerteams will be available to pray with you individuallyfor your needs.

Men for Spiritual Fitness - All men 18 and over areinvited to meet twice a month for prayer, Bible study,faith sharing and faith discussion. Exercise and buildup your spiritual muscles. The meetings are held the2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month in the smallmeeting room at Corpus Christi Church, from 8:00 amto 9:30 am. Bring a friend!
