For the fourth consecutive year we are organizing one of the most successful career events in Technical University of Sofia.

Through series of engineering competitions we establish a high-quality connection between companies and students.

Participants apply their knowledge to solve real problems, set by companies, which in turn have the chance to directly observe and select their future employees.

The event ends with a Career Cock-tail (called Companies’ Night), whose main purpose is the free contact and information exchange between companies and students in a more casual setting.

"BEST Engineering Week" gives you the opportunity to discover new ideas and approaches to solve real problems in your company,

and apply them in practice.You also have the opportunity to find the employees you need.

You can specify a theoretical case for the participants. Within several hours they need to find an appropriate and rational solution to the problem. Students demonstrate knowledge and skills, and you can find your future employees or to get new ideas to implement in your company.

Companies’ Night

The teams face a real practical case. Within a few hours the participants must design device by set parameters or to perform a task, which you put them. This is an amazing opportunity to observe how students would deal with actual tasks in your company.

The Career Cocktail, where you have the opportunity to avoid the barrier that exists duringa standard job interview and to form a casual contact to interested students.

Every company has a cocktail table for easy communi-cation with students while they are looking for an internship or a job.

The event is taking place in the period 10 to 20 Marchand it ends with a career cocktail. There are 7 working days and the winners are being rewarded at the official closing ceremony.

The Career Cocktail is directly linked to the awards ceremony for the winners of the competitions and lasts for several hours afterwards.

The official opening is open to students and media, and brings together all participants.

BEW 2013Best Engineering Week

Some of our partners held their competitions in their own company office, and so they showed the participants a real working environment in a prosperous company.

The Career cocktail of the Official Clos-ing gathered about 200 students who were able to get to know the open positions of our partners.

In 2014, the fourth edition of BEST Engineering week is about to take place.The third edition was attended by 12 companies and over 160 students

from different faculties of the Technical University of Sofia took part in our 10 com-petitions. As a result, 30 of the participants were interviewed for a job or internship,

and about 10 were hired.
