Khanna writes about the European Union being very active in making agreements between other European countries as well as countries outside of Europe.

Khanna believes that because of this, the capitol of the European Union, Brussels, will become like the new Rome.

He notes that countries such as Turkey will be crucial in defining the next decades in the world. Countries like Turkey and Mexico have the ability of choosing their allies and who they will allow to come into their countries to use their natural resources.

Khanna uses examples from many other countries in all the populated continents and explains possible interactions those countries may have with America.
