Brockville Tourism, in conjunction with the Brockville Tall Ships® Festival is pleased to provide this promotional opportunity to be front and center in a multimedia advertising campaign reaching more than 2 million people across Quebec, Eastern Ontario, New York & afar!

Brockville is the last port of call for the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® ONTARIO (TSCO). Our event will take place from August 30 – September 1, 2019. This is an incredible economic opportunity for our region with the great influx of visitors expected during that weekend.

I wanted you to be the first to know that the BlueNose II will be part of the Festival this year. The Bluenose II will join other Category A ships, like the Empire Sandy and the Picton Castle, and be host to a number of events and boarding opportunities. In total the Festival this year will have at least seven ships and talks are currently underway to add two additional vessels. We want to ensure that you have the opportunity for promotion during the many monthsleading up to the festival, and to be front and center during the festival weekend. Your support with sponsorship dollars or in-kind donations will be critical in ensuring the Festival is the best it can be.

This year we have partnered with all five Ontario ports on the Tall Ships Great Lakes Challenge tour to purchase a Bell CTV media package as it gives Brockville more unique coverage as part of the package. This gives you more opportunity to have your brand on CTV Ottawa and CTV Montreal. As you look through the levels of sponsorship you will note a number of new promotion possibilities at each level, as well as more benefits for you as sponsors.

I know the committee is working hard as they prepare to host this outstanding event in Brockville from August 30 to September 1 of next year. The excitement generated by the 2016 Tall Ships® Festival in our community and across Eastern Ontario was nothing short of amazing. The tremendous success of that event has bolstered Brockville’s reputation as a prime destination for Tall Ships® captains and their crews and those fascinated by these magnificent vessels. Certainly the economic impact of the event speaks for itself. The 2016 festival brought more than 50,000 visitors to the Brockville area, generating over $4 million in visitor spending.
