A Prayer for the New YearCome Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, Spirit of the Risen Christ, be with us today and always.
Be our light, our guide, and our Comforter. Be our Strength and Courage, and our Sanctifier. May this new year be a time of deep spiritual growth for us, a time of welcoming Your graces and gifts, a time for forgiving freely and unconditionally, a time for growing in virtue and goodness.
Come, Holy Spirit, through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, be with us today and always.
~ Amen.

CWL Membership & Sock DriveOur membership drive will take place on the weekends of Jan 10 & Jan 17. We will again be collecting socks (new and used) to be distributed to the shelters in the city. Through your generosity there was a tremendous response to this last year. Make someone’s day better with a warm pair of socks. Thank you for your continued support.
CWL Elections – will be held at the Feb. meeting 2016. We need a full slate. A membership drive will be held Jan. 9 & 10 and Jan. 16 & 17. Nomination forms for the election, newsletter and membership list will be given out at the same time. If you are a member in good standing, you are eligible to stand for an executive position or committee chairman/member. There are only a few who come out to the meetings. We would love for you to attend and put forth your ideas or suggestions. WE NEED YOU. If we don’t have active members who are willing to take on a position or attend meetings we may be forced to fold. We don’t want to do that. Please pray for our CWL and if you can find it in your hearts to help us out, it would be most appreciated.
Automatic Debit Our parish has Automatic Debit for those wishing to have their Sunday Offering and/or Building Fund Collection debited directly from their bank account on a monthly basis. Those who wish to begin Automatic Debit are asked to contact the parish office to receive the necessary paperwork or take a copy of the forms from the church vestibule.

Our Lady Untier of KnotsO Virgin Mary, faithful Mother whonever refuses to come to the aidof your children; Mother whosehands never cease to help, because they are moved by theloving kindness that exists in yourImmaculate Heart, cast your eyesof compassion upon me, and seethe snarl of knots that exists inmy life. You know all the painsand sorrows caused by thesetangled knots. Mary, my Mother,I entrust to your loving hands theentire ribbon of my life. In yourhands there is no knot whichcannot be undone.
