Term 2 Week 7 3 r d June 2021
Caddies Creek Public School Chronicle
Dear Parents,
It was sad to hear that our P&C Trivia night has been postponed. It is such a fun night as
tables do their best to answer all questions with lots of laughter in between. You don’t
need to have a great trivia mind, just a desire to enjoy yourself. There are always great
prizes to be won and of course, the school always greatly benefits from the fund raising
generated from the night. We hope that the new date will see a wonderful response to the
Trivia night.
Some areas of the school are receiving new vinyl tiles and/or carpet. This may mean some
classes will have to relocate for a short space of time while the work takes place. We
always try to get these sorts of jobs completed in holiday periods but this is not always
possible with the large number of schools all trying to make holiday bookings.
There could be a time when your child has a small accident at school requiring a change
of clothes. When that happens office staff will change your child into dry clothes and
send the wet items home. It is important that these clothes, including underwear, be
returned as soon as possible as they are in constant demand.
We were very fortunate to have Chelsea H model our new shirt and skort. The shirt is a
short sleeve, diamond front overshirt and the skort is the same fabric as the girls winter
tunic. This uniform will be sold as a set initially with the ability to purchase extra shirts
as needed. At present we will be rolling out the new uniform to senior students in years
5 and 6 only as an alternative to the girls tunic. I think you will agree Chelsea looks great
in this addition to our school uniform.

P&C News
RESCHEDULING OF THE P&C TRIVIA NIGHT
Everyone knows the purpose of a FUNDRAISER is to raise FUNDS and to have FUN.
Unfortunately, although we have had some great donations from local business and some
interest with people booking tables we didn’t have enough people confirmed for this weekend
to do both of those things well.
So, the P&C have rescheduled the Trivia Night to Saturday 14 August 2021, which will give
us time to organise some more wonderful donations and confirm some more tables.
Thanks to those who had made bookings for moving to the new date and if you would like to
come along, support our wonderful school and have a great night please email
[email protected] and reserve your table. Seats are $20 each.
Thanks for everyone’s understanding and support.
School Banking – We were incredibly pleased to see more of our regular bankers faces at the
banking table yesterday and it’s wonderful to see those new students who have just signed up to
get started too. We look forward to seeing even more people next Wednesday between 830am-
9am outside the library.
Reusable Lunch Bags
To further the environmentally friendly initiatives at Caddies the P&C are now offering for sale
Reusable Lunch Bags. If your child orders from the canteen you may be interested in
purchasing one of the two styles of reusable lunch bags detailed on page 4.
The P&C will have these for sale on at the school Banking table on Wednesday mornings 8.30-
9am. We will accept cash or credit/debit cards on the day (a card surcharge will be applied) or
by emailing your order through to [email protected].
The Lunch Wallet is $10.50 or The Insulated Allrounder $12.50
