Dear Parents and Friends,
Another school year is coming to a close and what a year it has been. None of
us were expecting the year that was 2020 but we are proud of our students
and our community and the resilience and positive outlook they have shown
during these strange times. Watch our end of year concert to get the chil-
dren’s perspective of the year. Thank you to the children, parents, staff and
community of UCCPS for your unwavering support of our students and school.
School lunch and concert: Thanks to all the parents and families who came
along for family lunch last Friday. The children enjoyed the opportunity to
showcase their many creative and culinary talents to you. Although we didn’t
have the opportunity for a live school concert this year, it was great that the
students had the chance to perform some of the songs they have learnt this
year. For an extended example of their incredible performances, check out
the school concert that we will send home today on a USB. There will also be a
private link to the concert that you can share with family. As soon as this is
available, it will be on the school home learning facebook page. If you cannot
access this, please let me know and I will email the link to you.
Farewell: We are very sad to say goodbye to Cayne and his family. After seven
years at UCC, Cayne is off to High School at Byron Bay next year. Cayne’s fam-
ily have been part of our school for even longer and will be greatly missed.
Thanks for being part of UCC Cayne, Ben, Lynda and Darren. We will miss you!
