These projects have a gross peak capacity of

Maintaining Well-Established Resource Base by Adding New Discoveries Every Year
CNOOC has maintained a reasonable level of spending on Exploration and Development (E&D) and achieved satisfactory results. It has made new discoveries every year and maintained a high level of reserve additions. It made xx new discoveries between 2010 and 2014 and xx new discoveries alone in 2014. It has had a high success rate of new discoveries in mature exploration areas, including offshore China, which has support the sustainable growth of its reserves.

CNOOC’s oil and natural gas production increased at a Compound Annual Growth Rate
(CAGR) of xx% during the 2011–2014 periods, from xxx mmboe to xxx mmboe. Its crude

mmbbl, while its natural gas production increased at a CAGR of xx% from xxxx bcf to xxxx
