Computing is decentralised; pushed to

the user / desktop where computers

provide personal computing

capabilities.

Wide Area Networks increase



1990sThe internet comes of age.

The internet is comparable to the

electricity gird, but on a global scale.

Instead of moving electricity, the

internet moves data.

New business models appear –

exponentially

Amazon is born amongst others.
