Certified nurse aides (CNAs) perform tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff. CNAs monitor

and record vital signs and perform personal care skills including bathing, dressing and toileting; assisting with

meals; transfers and ambulation; linen changes and room organization; and preventing safety issues by following facility

policies and procedures.

Certification: Students who successfully complete the CNA training are eligible to sit for the S.C. Nurse Aide Certification Exam administered by the NACES Plus Foundation, Inc. Upon

successfully passing the NNAAP testing, students are eligible to receive a TTC CNA lapel pin.

• Classroom studies are held at Trident Technical College’sSt. Paul’s Parish Site in Hollywood.

• Classroom studies are from May 16-June 20, meeting on Mondays,Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5-9 p.m.

• Clinical training takes place in various locations in the field fromJune 21-July 7 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from
