Ensuring the IP is not compromised• Come and talk to us before publishing or communicating your idea outside your

research group• Keep notes of your ideas with dates and signature• The Intellectual Property developed at City University is owned by City University,

it’s in your contract• Talking to third parties – Use a non-disclosure agreement• Sending/Receiving material with third parties – Use our Material Transfer

Agreement• Don’t horse trade your IP for a contract!
