A4. Other measures:


During 2014 the landslide occurred due to flash flood at Bhoktoo. The site needed stabilization. The experts from IIT Roorkee were invited to suggest the measures for stabilization of site. The site was stabilized under the guidance of experts of IIT Roorkee.


To stabilize the land from road side to avoid any land slide the retaining walls have been constructed. The selection of land for the construction of substation is such that short distance transmission lines are being constructed involving minimum area of land for evacuation of power.
