Upcoming Events!
Pi Alpha’s Recruitment Team is Collecting Pandas for the Arthritis Foundation! The goal is to collect as many pandas as we can so that we are able to donate them to a Juvenile Arthritis Camp! You can mail them
to Mackenzie Doyle (1720 S. 4th Street Apt.2 Louisville, KY 40208) or bring them to the Suite by June 5th, 2016. It would really mean a lot to us and especially the children that have arthritis!

My lovely sisters, I'm so honored that Brittany has included me in this month's Alumnae newsletter, especially as my term as Vice President of Membership Recruitment comes to an end this August. I hope that I will be able to update you on some things regarding recruitment and get you all as excited for recruitment as we are! There are some big changes coming to the University of Louisville this fall and it's called "Values Based Recruitment". Basically this means we cannot have any decorations that would be deemed frivolous and it also means the permanent end to the well-known, 'Skit Night'. While all these changes may be scary, I am 10 times more confident in our sisters. Instead of focusing on impressing these potential sisters with all of our accomplishments and stylish suite, we will be able to impress on these girls what we hold dear to our hearts. To Pi Alpha, that is our diversity, our sisterhood and our ritual. In the fall of 2015, Pi Alpha welcomed its largest pledge class ever; 40 beautiful, blooming rosebuds. This fall, we strive to exceed the expectations and welcome even more! We plan to do so by welcoming the WKU chapter as well as another Kentucky chapter to help us prepare! We will also be mock recruiting with a newer sorority on campus, Kappa Alpha Theta. We practiced with them last fall, had a blast and learned a great amount of information! If you would like to come visit Pi Alpha during a recruitment workshop this summer or would like to come during Spirit Week, please contact myself, my assistant Emily or our advisors, Jacque & Evan.
