EXTRA MILE GIVING
As directed by Church Council, Trustees has purchased
an excellen t condit ion , low mileage ligh t ly used 2012
Ford Passenger Van for the church . An addit ional veh icle
was needed due to the aging of our cur ren t van and the
la rge sized groups such as children , youth , leisure and
sen ior min ist r ies tha t cou ld not be t ranspor ted with a
single veh icle. The cost of the new church van is $16,000.
If you would like to donate towards it s cost , please label

There will be a FREE dinner each night!
VACATION BIBLE STUDY We want to prepare 300
goody bags to be distributed to our Hometown
Heroes as our mission project for
Vacation Bible School! Suggested items are:
Candies, Travel Size Hand Sanitizers and
Kleenexes, Small Note Pads, Little Debbie Cakes,
Packs of Crackers, Granola Bars, Chap Stick,
Bottled Water, and Small Brown Paper Bags.

WE ARE SEEKING A VOLUNTEER THAT WILL COORDINATE THE OPERATION
CHRISTMAS CHILD – COLLECTION SITE that we do at our church. This
usually occurs the week before thanksgiving each year. This is a great
ministry opportunity that FUMC should continue. We have been doing
this for 6 years. If you are interested in stepping up for this, please
contact Joe Stilwell for more information. We need to act upon this
soon since the OCC regional teams get all sites re- registered by early
summer. Thank you!

The preschool year has to come to a close,
it is so hard to believe we are finished for
this year. The children did an amazing job
at the program, we are so proud of
them. Best wishes to our Graduates, We
hope everyone has a great summer.
Special thanks to Loretta & Kristi for all their
hard work and dedication to the preschool
program. We appreciate Julie & Jenna for
all they do for us throughout the year. We
really appreciate it.
Our classes will resume in September, as of right
now we are blessed to have all our classes
full. We look forward to another successful year in
the fall.
