5.1 Seniors Festival
In 2020, the NSW Seniors Festival runs from Wednesday February 12 to Sunday February 23. The theme this year is ‘Love to Celebrate’. A Hunter’s Hill Council seniors celebration occurs each year around the NSW Seniors Festival, with a program of events celebrating the valuable contribution seniors make to our community. There are many events that take place in our community, and most are free. This is a great opportunity to learn about the services available in the local area, to try some new experiences and to meet other people! In partnership with Sydney Community Services, Hunters Hill Council will be co hosting A Celebration of The Urban Bush as part of Seniors Festival on February 18 at Hunters Hill Town Hall, and would encourage all councillors to attend. In addition, a lift out of events will be included in the Weekly Times promoting services and events in the LGA. For more details about the NSW festival go to seniorsfestival.nsw.gov.au http://www.huntershill.nsw.gov.au/events/seniors-festival-celebrating-the-urban-bush/
