To identify an illustration style, we developed a series of mood boards exploring several options

Copy from the report and initial sketches were flowed onto spreads for review and approval

Typography was explored to find a readable, engaging approach to type hierarchy.

ART DIRECTION: TYPOGRAPHY

Eveleth Clean Regular used for headings, subheadings, and pull quotes.

Bell MT Regular used for body copy.

Colors were selected to highlight the production capabilities of the NexPress printing technologies

Colors repeated throughout the report to create a cohesive feel across spreads

The final publication, Print's Evolving Role in the Modern Enterprise, runs 42 pages, and contains a combination of illustrative and typographic spreads.
