Then go to your child’s teacher’s name and fill in the time you prefer. P&C June Meeting Please note that Tuesday 23rd is our big evening for interviews. After interviews on Tuesday 23rd we will again have a P&C meeting in the staffroom where we hope to get people who are financial members of the Harcourt P&C to both attend meetings and to nominate for a position on our P&C. Become financial by paying $2 at the school office before the meeting date. Cross Country Carnival Results 2015 Competitive Races: House Cheers & Behaviour: 1 st – Hume 171 points 1 st – Hume 145 points 2 nd – Cook 159 points 2 nd – Sturt 140 points 3 rd – Bass 141 points 3 rd – Cook 130 points 4 th – Sturt 132 points 4 th - Bass 110 points Congratulations to all our students Years 3-6 who participated in the 2015 cross- country carnival. On Monday 18 May our school sent our best 32 cross-country runners to compete in the zone carnival. Our congratulations go to Save Cakaunitubua, Zach Wilson and Mark Gray who were all place getters. Well done to you all. Community of Schools Last week 10 of our students worked with 10 students from Lakemba Public school to produce some wonderful screen prints. ROSE Awards Scheme and “Good Workers” TABLE This table is in the Newsletter every week and shows which students have achieved a special level in our ROSE (Respecting Our School & Each other)

awards program or have been noted for a really great effort in class – or have done some fantastic handwriting. The following students have achieved a higher level on the ROSE program or they have come to the Principal to show their excellent work. When they come to see me, they get a sticker for their good work – and a stamp on their forehead, their nose, their cheek or their chin. SO – if your child comes home with a stamp from the Principal – tell them how proud and pleased you are! Congratulations to these students:

Wild Wednesday Year 6 held Wild Wednesday today; everyone participated and had a Wild time. Here are some of the photos from this

morning’s parade. Many more will be included in the next newsletter. A big thank you goes to our Year 6 teachers for organising such a fun day. It was wonderful to see so many parents and community members at the parade. We hope you had a wild time.
