We recently introduced the Curated Surfaces Collection in Millennia. This collection captures textures, colors and materials—including some of our existing bestsellers—trending in today’s kitchen and bath designs. Chosen from input through homeowners, designers and vendors, this selection includes muted tones across a range of wood grains, matte finishes and high gloss surfaces. The materials in the Curated Surfaces Collection mix-and-match beautifully within a group, as well with metal, wood and other laminate styles.

The Curated Surfaces Collection includes eleven TSS (Thermo Structured Surface) options. Popular Pearl and Driftwood are still available on door styles Corson and Tiburon, along with new options Aspen Oak, Doeskin, Textured White, Vineyard Oak, Whitesand, Gunsmoke, French Grey, Cypress and Chestnut.

A new Shaker-like door has also been added to our TSS offering. Pinnacle is offered in five of those new TSS colors: Aspen Oak, Doeskin, Vineyard Oak, Whitesand and French Grey.

Our High Gloss Acrylic and Foil selection has been overhauled! Fahrenheit is now available in HG Acrylic White, Black, Blue and Dark Grey. HG Foil options for Palermo and Siena include White and Black, with the addition of three new Foils: Fossil Grey, Silver, and Striated Flint. All other HG Acrylic and Foil options have been discontinued.

Rounding out the Curated Surfaces Collection is the latest in surface technology—Super Mattes. With almost zero reflectivity, these new doors offer a unique look in any room. Super Mattes are available on two door styles, Maestro, a Shaker-like door and Apex, a slab style door. Both doors are offered in White, Black, Navy, Haze and Slate.

Transition Your Outdoor Space For Fall

Eye-catching flowers and foliage will bring your outdoor space to life. Flowers like chrysanthe-mums and dahlias in warm yellows, oranges and reds will take your pumpkin display up a notch. Hay bales can serve two purposes this fall, as part of your décor and for a place to sit when handing out Halloween candy.

Add lighting to your outdoor space as it starts to get darker earlier in the night. Go a step further with a fire pit. The extra light and heat from a fire pit will allow you to stay outside longer as temperatures cool.

The easiest way to get ready for fall is by switching up your color scheme. Festive fall additions such as knit blankets, plaid accents, and neutral-col-ored candle holders work well with the changing season. Pumpkins and leaf garland are great for finishing off your fall décor.

As summer ends and cooler temperatures arrive, there is no time like the present to start planning how to transition your outdoor space for fall. You can keep it as simple as adding knit blankets and pillows in fall colors or you can make over your entire outdoor space to complement the crisp weather.

Cleaning Your DishwasherEven though the dishwasher is used to clean dishes it still needs to be deep cleaned every once and a while. Here is what you need to do to keep your dishwasher running efficiently.

Run your dishwasher without dishes: Add dishwasher detergent as normal and run a cycle without any dishes. This will help rinse any residue on the inside of the appliance.

Antibacterial wipes: Bacteria can remain in your dish-washer even after you run it. Take out the dishwasher racks and give them a good cleaning with antibacterial wipes to get rid of any lingering bacteria.

Clean out the filter: Food particles can accumulate over time in the filter of your dishwasher. Located at the bottom of your dishwasher, the filter might need a screwdriver to remove it. Wipe off any loose debris with a damp wash cloth. Mix together 1/2 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup salt and 1 cup bleach. Take a soft toothbrush and gently scrub the mixture on the filter. Rinse with warm water and let dry.

Wipe the exterior: It won’t help your dishwasher run better, but you shouldn’t forget about cleaning the exterior of the dishwasher. All you need is a rag and window cleaner.
