Cut Here

Eleven years after the Wisconsin Audit Bureau named the Demmer Library one of the top libraries in the state, ten years

after the Demmer Library Building Committee was formed, six years after first formal needs assessment was completed

and first conceptual designs were presented, 5 years after focused fundraising began, three years after Three Lakes

voters approved a referendum, two years after the Demmer Design and Construction Committee was established to

select an architect and oversee the design and construction project, and one year after bids were opened, we are opening

the doors to the Demmer Next Generation!

It truly takes a village, an army, and a whole lot of sweat to get a job like this done, and I’m truly grateful to everybody

who put in the hours or cheered us on to make it happen. This is YOUR library, so come and make yourself at home!

Are you fostering books? Your books should have had their due dates changed to 3-1-2019. We will begin recalling

books once we are mostly moved in, starting in February. If you have any questions or concerns about returning books

in February, please call the library at 715-546-3391 or email [email protected].

You can stay up-to-date by following us on Facebook or at www.demmerlibrary.org/demmer-2018. Also, check out our
