• Statutory 2 X 1 hour Physical Education is delivered in schools each week

• After school activity provision has grown by 83% since 2009

• Food and Healthy Eating education is more ad hoc across schools

• Cooking and food preparation is the most accessible health-related activity that families can do together – we eat everyday!

Tesco Charity Trust Community Awards Scheme provides one-off donations of between £500 and £4,000 to local projects that support children and their education and welfare, elderly people and adults and children with disabilities
