client: Niche Talent Searchdate(s) & location: 2008 — Shanghai (上海), China (中国)
role/activities: Creative Director — Deeply examined the Client in order to establish the company’s “personality” and identity. Designed and built company’s website and ID package (including logo and various marketing materials). Also established an information architecture and content management/delivery system. As is usually the case in all the projects I take on, one of the primary goals of this visionary client “was to break out of the mold”.
client: Naked Cowdate(s) & location: 2006/07 — Shanghai (上海), China (中国)
role/activities: Creative Team Member — Assisted in building and serving as an integral member of a creative team whose task it was to take an existing, uninteresting, non-unique and thus failing restaurant venue and turn it into the exact opposite. This was accomplished by establishing a very unique an irreplaceable identity coupled with a total redesign and re-theming of the venue’s interior design and social environment.
client: CICC (Coalition for the International Criminal Court)date(s) & location: 2003 — New York Cityrole/activities: Creative Director / Public Awareness Consultant — As this organization is/was primarily comprised of academics and lawyers I offered my services because at the time, I viewed it as a viable solution and deterrent to the approaching Iraq war. Essentially I brought creative ideas to the organization that were aimed and producing and raising public awareness and forming strategic partnerships with other organizations. Extensive research of the court and its history was undertaken in order to craft various campaigns. This work also included establishing information architecture and content delivery mechanisms as well as the designing and building of the coalition’s website.
client: TZ Designdate(s) & location: 2000 — New York Cityrole/activities: Creative Director — Contracted with world- renowned furniture designer Mark Goetz to design and build a website as well as a core set of marketing materials.
client: Limelightdate(s) & location: 1992 – 1998 — New York Cityrole/activities: Creative Director / Event Coordinator / DJ —Probably the most exciting aspect of all my work with this venue was the realization of the H.R. Giger VIP Room. It was a 3 year installation of Giger’s artwork which included sculptures, functional furniture pieces, a same-size digital reproduction of ”The Way of the Magician”, plus eight other paintings displayed as rear-illuminated same-size transparencies. Also included in this set are some examples of unique bar design / installation and novelty event creation.
client: Bowlmore / Pressure Loungedate(s) & location: 1999-2000 — New York Cityrole/activities: Creative Director — Part of a creative team that was tasked with redesigning, and re-theming this bowling and pool hall venue into something much more modern and fashionable.
