Downloading your E services Roster into Microsoft Excel
NOTE: E‐services is certified for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Any other browser type is not supported with E‐services.
1. From the UHD Homepage, click MyUHD.
2. Click the link to Faculty & Staff E‐services at the right of the screen.
3. From the Faculty & Staff e‐services window, under My Online Transactions, click on My Class Roster and e‐syllabi.
4. Use your User ID and Password and click Submit to login to Faculty E‐services.
5. Select the semester you want to view using the drop‐down menu and click Go to continue.
6. The information you are requesting is confirmed, click Continue.
7. Enter your network password again to confirm your identity, and click Confirm Password.
8. The Course Information window shows the courses for the selected term. To view the roster for a class, click on
Class Roster button for a particular course.
9. To download your roster, click Download This Roster.
10. The Class Roster will be sent to your UHD email address. Click the Continue button to continue.
11. Repeat steps 8‐10 until you have downloaded all of your desired rosters, and click logout to exit E‐services.
12. The email with your class roster should appear in your email inbox after it has been processed. If it has not
appeared after 10 minutes, check your Junk E‐mail folder or repeat the request.
13. To save your Class Roster file, please right click on the email attachment and select Save As.
14. A dialog box will appear allowing you to rename your file and save it where you deem appropriate. When you are ready to save
the file, click Save.
15. Open Microsoft Excel to view your Class Roster file.
16. Inside Microsoft Excel, click File then Open (or click the Office button and select Open).
17. The Open dialog box will appear. You must change the Files of type to be All Files by clicking on the drop‐down menu.
18. Find and select your downloaded Class Roster file, and click Open.
19. You will now be taken through the 3 step process of the Text Import Wizard.
a. Step 1 – Under Original data type select Delimited and click Next.
b. Step 2 – Under Delimiters make certain only Semicolon is selected and click Next.
c. Step 3 ‐ No changes need to be made to this window, so click Finish to import your Class Roster.
20. Your imported Class Roster should appear in Microsoft Excel.
21. To save your Class Roster as an Excel file, click on File then Save As (or Office button then Save As) and choose Excel Workbook.
22. Choose a location for your file, a name for your file name, and select Save.
