Product Description

The absorbed dose necessary to obtain a medical X-ray image with sufficient signal-to-noise ratio varies with object composition, thickness, and X-ray energy spectrum.

The positive effects of energy filtering to optimize the spectrum were observed already at the advent of medical X-ray imaging.

It was noted that putting a thin layer of material, such as a piece of sil icon cupper, drastically improves the X-ray medical image.

Examples • X-Pack is a complete package of components for an X-ray system

preconfigured and adjusted. Not only the interfacing of all components but also the image quality is fine-tuned to perfection for your application. X-Pack is available for Bucky systems, RF-systems, surgery systems as well as special applications (e.g. Lithotripsy systems) from 3.5 kW to 80 kW and from 9” Image Intensifiers to Flat Panel Detectors.

• Bucky|Röntgen is a readymade system solution, including design, documentation and certification.

• X-Pack Flat Upgrade a retrofit kit for easy upgrade of an analogue system to digital.

X-Alliance in a Nutshell: As the official successor of the worldwide Philips X-ray OEM component business, X-Alliance continues customer support and supplies as well as system integration support services. We offer comprehensive radiographic and fluoroscopic hands-on X-ray training programs to get deep insight knowledge of components and radiographic systems.

Course Portfolio: We have our own training premises in Hamburg/Germany or up on request on customer site. We provide training at the intersection of technology and service support. Typical content of the training course are:

• Theoretical knowledge • Hands-on sessions in the X-ray test room • Trouble shooting of most common service issues • Application • Technical service • Spare part integration handling
