The first pipeline of clean fresh spring water, directly running from the Tamina Gorge to Grand Resort Bad Ragaz originated on the 31st May 1840, and 175 years later still provides guests and locals alike with unrivalled access to pure, fresh mountain spring water.

Recognising how the healing waters of the Tamina Gorge play a crucial role in the everyday functioning of both the resort and the surrounding town of Bad Ragaz, the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is delighted to launch a new pampering Blue Gold package. Designed to honour the resort’s unique relationship to the Tamina

Gorge, guests can experience a radical new Thermal Water Massage treatment as part of this new package, which has been carefully created by the forward thinking spa therapists at Bad Ragaz.

The Thermal Water Massage treatment begins with massaging and washing of guests’ feet, where they are encouraged to leave behind everyday worries and soothe themselves with the sounds of trickling water, before enjoying a full 50 minute body massage using replenishing, warm herbal oils. Guests are encouraged to use this time to reflect and let their bodies fully rejuvenate.

The Tamina Gorge fresh water can be enjoyed in the resort’s luxurious 36.5° Wellbeing & Thermal Spa area, as well the much-loved publicly accessible thermal spa, the Tamina Therme. Guests staying in the exclusive Spa Suites can even benefit from having thermal water pumped directly through every tap in their bathroom, sauna and steam room.
