VOICEOVER In a world where goodness is all but a
distant memory, our galaxy is experiencing a Tsunami of super villainous activity
threatening the very fabric of our existence. Planet Earth is under threat
from a string of evil forces both known and unknown, some who hail from distant worlds and others who walk among us. As these
forces of evil unite against a common good, we look to the superheroes of the comic universe to give hope to the seemingly
hopeless, light to a world in the midst of its darkest days and restore order to the chaos currently sweeping our galaxy. But
will it be enough? Never before has a task seemed so astronomical that the super
heroes themselves are deviating from their duty fearing ultimate defeat. And so, from within the ranks of this very room, a new
hero will emerge…
Spotlight on Hero. Hero looks around and realizes that the voice is referring to him.
VOICEOVER (cont)
[clears throat] I said, a new hero will emerge!
HERO
Are you talking about me?
VOICEOVER Yes, you! Emerge!
HERO
[unenthusiastically] Really?
VOICEOVER Yes, really.

VOICEOVER [Losing cool just for a moment] GET UP!!
And with the help of the superheroes of the comic universe, he will rise…
HERO
[Puzzled] Didn’t I just? So I’ve emerged, now you want me to rise? Sorry, I’m
confused.
VOICEOVER [Through clenched teeth] RISE to become an unstoppable force for good. Our somewhat
reluctant superhero will have powers encompassing that of every superhero and super villain that has come before him.
Hero likes the sound of this all of a sudden.
HERO
Fancy.
VOICEOVER Ladies and Gentlemen, The superheroes of the comic Universe have heard your cries
and they believe that under their guidance, this new hero will be the one answer them.
