MCA – The course of MCA has a semester pattern. Each academic year has 2 semesters with a total of 6 semesters in 3 years. The odd semesters run from August to December and the even semesters run from January to May. MBA – The course of MCA has a semester pattern. Each academic year has 2 semesters with a total of semesters in 2 years. The odd semesters run from August to December and the even semesters run from January to May.

Examination system, Year / Sem

MCA – The course of MCA has a semester pattern. Winter Exams are held in December-January and Summer Exams in May-June. Examinations include theory exams followed by practical exams. New session starts 15 days after the end of exams.

MBA – The course of MBA has a semester pattern. Winter Exams are held in December-January and Summer Exams in May-June. New session starts 15 days after the end of exams.

Students Activity Body

The College Activities body is managed by faculty in-charges and includes student representatives and volunteers. It schedules and organises various activities such as blood donation, kite festival, Corporate Social Responsibilities: Literacy to students of “Anathashram” by the students and donation, Go-Green GHRIIT- A competition for cleanliness, Plantation- Indoor Saplings and CSI participation for the MCA Students.

Cultural activities Rangoli, kite festival flower arrangement, dance, singing, instrumental, skit competitions,26th January and 15th August celebrations.

Sports activities Cricket, carrom, chess, table tennis and pool competitions are held periodically.

Literary activities Student articles are published in departmental magazine. Students actively participate and have won inmany inter-collegiate debate, essay writing and elocution competitions.

Technical activities / TechFest IT Forum is organised annually which includes competitions such as software development, code debugging, project competitions, paper presentation and poster presentation.

Industrial Visits / Tours An annual industrial tour to reputed companies is organised in September and January for MCA II Year and MBA II Year students respectively. An annual excursion is organised for MCA III Year and MBA I Year students respectively.

Alumni activities Alumni are invited for guest lectures and technical activities. An alumni meet is being planned in the near future.
