This is a Promotional poster for the game tomb raider released in 2013. This poster was created to look like a old map making the meaning of the slogan more vast and interesting to the viewer. This poster could also be used in magazines and other promotion purposes to show off the well done design of the visual.

This is a Promotional graphic for the Star Wars identities exhibition. This graphic uses different shapes of star wars objects from the sith to create Darth Vader. The use of the objects make the graphic more appealing because at first glance you don’t see the objects making up the full design.This graphic could be used in magazines, online sidebar advertisements, and other things like posters or cards.

This is a magazine cover for BBC’s topgear. The layout of the magazine is clean and well designed keeping the colors relatively the same so it pops out more to the consumer. The use of the spacing and lettering make the cover seem more interesting and only the major punch lines stand out from the rest. This could only be used as a magazine cover because there are to many things on the cover for it to be a good looking poster or advertisement.

This is a movie poster for Batman The Dark Knight. This poster has visuals that are dark and look like chaos surrounding the joker. The joker in the dark knight is the main villain in the story and as the poster shows he is a dark and scary looking character addicted to chaos and anarchy. This poster could be used as a promotional poster or a advertisement because it show all the elements of a good layout and also gets what the creator is trying to say about the story.

This is a old style promotional poster/ advertisement for the video game L.A. Noire. This ad has a old 1940’s theme to the ad making it seem as if it was an old movie or promotion from the 1940’s for a modern day visual. This could be used as a magazine ad or a poster because of the look and style the poster shows with its old and interesting feel.

This is a retro style modern day version of the cover for the legend of Zelda ocarina of time. This shows a old style Nintendo 64 look on the cover creating the illusion that is the original version making the cover more appealing to a older audience while still appealing to the youth. This cover could be used for an ad or even a poster but is the best for the cover of the game because of the old style look for a new game.

This is a promotional advertisement for the DLC burial at sea for bioshock infinite. This has a old style feel to the ad as well as a questionable story to the ad as to who is the man and the women in the visual. This is great to be used as a promotional ad, poster, and even a cover for a website or background.
