▪ Gently remind them that you are there to help them and that the class is a unit/team

▪ Acknowledge and be sensitive to parents specific concerns

▪ Gently remind parents that you also have the best interest of their child in mind

▪ Make sure to have correct facts, figures and information

▪ Avoid “he said, she said” situations
